Tasty Tuesday - Peppermint Hot Chocolate

With it getting a little chilly out (and in Florida that means that today was a little windy!) it reminds me of peppermint hot chocolate. I used to make that all of the time in college.) I want to share with you my super secret recipe!

Please share your super secret recipes with us today!

Peppermint Hot Chocolate Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 packet of hot chocolate mix
  • 4 ounces of water
  • 4 ounces of milk
  • peppermint extract
  • whipped cream (if that's what you fancy)
  • crushed up peppermint candy canes

Directions
  1. Microwave or warm over stove water and milk mixture
  2. Once boiling, pour in hot coco mixture
  3. Add two squirts of peppermint extract (add more if you'd like a stronger taste)
  4. Put a dollop of whipped cream on top
  5. Sprinkle some crushed up peppermint candy canes on top!
  6. ENJOY! :)

Pretty simple, right?

  1. I heard on the radio this morning that McDonalds actually has peppermint hot chocolate and peppermint mochas. I might try those and see how they are!
