Quote of the Day 7/22

Wisdom for you on this gorgeous Friday:

That doesn't mean forget about the day or all of the positive things that happened - but learn from your mistakes and don't dwell on them. There is no sense in worrying about what could have happened or what did happened - it's a waste of time and energy.

Today is a NEW day, so enjoy it!

I have a fantastic weekend ahead of me - beach with a friend before she leaves for grad school, dinner & putt putt golf with awesome some co-workers, a massage (that I need so bad!), etc. I am looking forward to it! May yours be blessed and fun! <3

P.S. I'm also looking forward to my Sunday sweet treat day (I try to only eat bad on Sundays...not that I don't normally cheat...but...I try!) I'm totally having a home made biscotti my aunt baked...

P.S.S. I need a new laptop. STAT. My Dell is going down the drain. The mouse pad doesn't work. It's slow. (Maybe it has a virus? I don't know.) It just sucks. Any ideas has to a new one? I definitely want an Apple. Anyone have any coupons or know of good discounts?!

  1. Hey hun! Just stopping by from the blog hop!
I am now a follower! You can check out my page and follow me back if you want!

  2. What a great quote and a great reminder. Happy Friday!

  3. Oh, and thanks for the sweet comment on my page! And yes, you can call me Holls, lol wow I haven't been called that in years! That was pretty much my nickname growing up :) Now, the kids I've counseled at church camp the past few years have named me "Hollypop" and they sing the song too..it's kinda cute. I like nicknames!

And I think "thankful" lists are great to keep you focused on the good things in your life. I'm doing it at the end of every week as apart of my 101 Things in 1001 Days list (it's one of the tabs on my page) and it's fun to think of 5 different things I'm thankful for every week!

  4. Hope you have a good weekend! That biscotti looks really delish!

  5. Have a fabulous weekend!

  6. I am your newest follower from "Bee Friendly Friday" - happy to have found ya!
