Answers:
The thing that scares me the most is __________?
I'd have to go with heights. No thanks. That's my biggest "fear." And I put "fear" like that because with my sweet Jesus, I know there is nothing to fear. At all. That this "heights issue" is a nasty lie of the devil that I AM overcoming!

Do you like nuts in your Chocolate Chip cookies?
Absolutely!!! YUM. Throw some raisins in there too, please!

If you couldn't change the channel, what tv show would drive you from the room?
Hmm...there's quite a few. One of them is certainly "Family Guy" - or any show such as that.  I can't tolerate those "types" of shows.

Pulp or no pulp in your Orange Juice?
Ew. NO PULP. Grosses me out. Pulp makes me feel like I need to chew it...

Who do you miss the most?
Well, as of right now...my other half...who has been up north for the past two weeks. But, over all - my grandmother...my only grandparent I ever knew while growing up...my mom's mom. She passed away when I was at a somewhat young age. Would have loved to get to know her more and gain all of her wisdom she had.

Hope you all had a blessed, fun, wonderful weekend full of amazing memories! <3

  5. Fun read! I add a half a cup of peanut butter to my chocolate chip cookies, but I'm like you I love adding fun ingredients in. :)

I also don't like Family Guy or pulp in my oj. I sometimes compromise and get "some pulp" for my husband...now that's true love. ;)

  7. Good luck with overcoming your fear of heights. I've not had any luck yet doing that. Don't like Family Guy either. Those are poor excuses for entertainment.

  10. Your fear comment just made me think of something that I hope can help, or at leat be an interesting thought.

I don't think fear is evil or bad in itself. True we have nothing to fear thanks to Jesus, but I think there are 2 types of fear, and the first can be useful.

It has been said (and I guess I believe it, at least for now) that there are 3 fears we are born with -loud noises, snakes, and ..heights ;) We are born with-God gave us these fears as instincts to protect us. They are tools..gifts in a sense..to keep us from doing dumb things. We learn other fears to keep us from doing dumb things. We don't need to fear death; however, using fears as tools to avoid needless death seems to be part of God's plan. However, it's up to us to not overreact to these instinctive fears. We should say "oh, there's a snake I will stay away." not, "OMGosh there's a SNAKE let me tear this wall down to get out.

The second type of fear encompasses the lies you speak of. I like to refer to this as FEAR=false evidence appearing real. For example, social anxiety. Fear of public speaking. Fear of failure. Fear of loneliness. Fear of being let down. These are all irrational and unfounded. We all have God in our corner 24/7. What other people think and how they react to us is immaterial as long as we live for God. Living for God (as you know) means loving yourself for how He made you and knowing that all you need to be fulfilled is His blessings and love. There is no danger in talking in public or attempting to make new friends or trying a challenging new activity. This kind of fear is not a tool but a hindrance.. a lie.

So EXTREMELY long story short...embrace your fear of heights as a good thing..but just say "wow..this is high...i shouldn't fall..duly noted Jesus..duly noted." and resist the urge to freak out.
