Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil Review

I am SO excited that I received the opportunity to review some coconut oil! I've been learning about how healthy and amazing it is for someone.

What interests me the most is the fact that in tropical regions where populations consistently use coconut oil, the population is far healthier when compared to those who don't use it.

The Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil page consists of the history behind coconut oil, recipes, and testimonials.

From reading some of my other product reviews, you know by now that I am a huge fan of organic and eco-friendly products. This product is organic! I strive to purchase organic products.

First off, I want to say that I am very happy with the Tropical Traditions staff - everyone I have communicated with thus far has been very friendly and willing to help. Their social media team (twitter, particularly!) is also excellent.

I have naturally dry skin so I decided to try the coconut oil on my skin. Wow. I felt a difference. Not only did it feel good - but it smelled great! I felt like it was really soaking into my skin and adding additional moisture - it felt great.

Instead of cooking with olive oil for dinner the past few nights, I've been using coconut oil. You can definitely taste a difference - but it isn't a bad change. I think the coconut flavor it gives is delicious!

I am glad I finally jumped on the coconut oil bandwagon! There will be many coconut oil-inspired recipes to come!

  2. I've been wondering what I should do with my dry skin. This is something that I will keep as an option. I thought you were going to talk about cooking for some reason! I was wrong. Anyway, keep us updated on the long term benefits of it please :)

  3. Hi Cami!
I'm also a huge organic food/natural beauty/health nut. I will definitely have to try this stuff. I absolutely love the smell of coconut and I knew it had healthy properties (I drink coconut milk, it helps the immune system and thyroid!)
