National Smile Day

A good friend of mine texted me this morning to say "happy national smile day!"

So I'm taking his word for it.

Some people say I am "too positive" on my blog, as a whole. You know what I have to say to that? Life is too short to care about what other people think and life is too short to be anything be positive.

If you have trouble being positive, on a daily basis...well, today you HAVE to be...it's National Smile Day. So not only do you have to smile, but you have to be sure you pass it on to someone else.

If you need help thinking of ways to make you smile...I'm here to help! ;)

Commit a random act of kindness. Make a list of awesome things. (Blog about it!) Work out. Take a run. Hug someone. Pet a dog! Compliment someone. Make small talk with a random person. Send a cute photo text to a friend. Tell someone how much they mean to you. Take a walk outside + smell the roses. Wear some fun socks! Dress to the nine's - make yourself FEEL good. Put on a song from your childhood. Write a hand-written note/card to a dear friend. Buy a new nail polish. Read through old e-mails. Call a friend you haven't heard from in a while. SMILE knowing that you are SPECIAL and PERFECT - made perfect in God's image!

Now pass those smiles on! ox

  4. Missed national smile day, so I'll have to make up for it today! Found you through a hop. Also in FL, and it's rainy here, too (FL is big, OKAY?!) Hope to see you at Tales of an Unlikely Mother someday.
