Thankful Thursday, 3.27.14

My blogging career has had a rough patch. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that I am blogging for multiple companies, multiple times during the week. So when/if I do have some free time, I browse Pinterest and relax instead of writing about ME.

I will try to change that because I really do miss blogging. I miss my interactions with you love ladies too!!

So - I am going to try to make a "comeback" with a Thankful Thursday post!

There are so many things to be thankful for. Lately I have been extra moody (V can attest to that!) and I'm not sure why. I think this list will help me focus on how great life really is and how the little things should not and do not matter.

I am thankful for...

My handsome & wonderful husband! We will be celebrating our first wedding anniversary this Sunday. My, oh my how this past year flew by. I cannot believe that just one year ago, I was marrying my best friend and spending time with loved ones & friends! It was such a memorable day that I always joke around that I want us to have another wedding. ;)

My fun pups! Even though they do drive me crazy and little Chance likes to wake up an hour before I need to be up and keep me up (probably the reason for a lot of my moodiness!) - I love him dearly. Chewy & Chance have a BLAST together. & Chance now has a very loving and fun home.

I cannot WAIT for our little cruise getaway to the Bahamas. I need some quality time with my hubby and some sun in my life!!

I helped host/plan my cousin's bridal shower this past weekend. Her wedding is April 26 - coming up so soon! I am blessed enough to be a bridesmaid. It's so special to me that I get to be apart of her big day in such a special way.

Speaking of the bridal shower - I had such a fun time making all of the decorations! I LOVE crafting. I went with a mustache theme...mustache straws, toothpicks, banners, etc! The favors were candy shaped mustaches.

I have been doing SO good with working out 5 days a week. I am not sure if others can see a difference but I certainly feel a difference and that's all that matters! I feel like I am more toned & have some muscle instead of being "skin & bones" like people say all of the time. (Which isn't exactly the nicest thing to tell someone - by the way!!)

Coconut oil - I am so thankful for! I tried the whole "oil pulling" thing for a little while. It didn't last very long - it is time consuming. I have been using it on my scalp, though, and it feels wonderful. I have scalp issues...it is alleviating a lot of the itchiness.

I am thankful that I am getting off a tad bit early today so I can get my hair cut! It hasn't been cut since September and it is in DIRE need of a trim. I am debating throwing in some highlights...I told myself I wanted to stop dying my hair - it is now pretty much all one color...but I do love how my hair looks with them! Decisions, decisions.

What are YOU thankful for this week?

I'm thankful for where I live!

Living in Florida has it's perks, that's for sure! Sometimes, the perks outweigh the little "bummers" that come about.

I am incredibly thankful to live in Florida - especially beachside, due to the incredible sunrises and sunsets we have been experiencing lately...

I feel like God is reminding me to enjoy the simple pleasures of life and be thankful for all this life has to offer...

Thankful Thursday, 9.12.13

What a beautiful day today is! There is so much to be thankful for, no matter your circumstance. You might have to dig to find it - but it's there!

I am thankful I live in the land of the free! What a site to see - everyone getting together in unity yesterday - all around the world - all around my town.

I am thankful for a man who was my nurse when I was sick last week - and a pup that never left my side! -my beautiful roses, too :)

I am thankful for this Saturday - I am in a good friends wedding. I'm excited to share her special day with her. I'm also excited to hangout with not only the bride, but my family that day as well - they'll be at the wedding, too!

I am thankful for more time to blog! I've missed it so much.

I am thankful for vacation time in the near future - I am in desperate need of it!

I am thankful for my wonderful husband & friends who make me feel so good and content when I make dinner for them. They are so thankful and they let me know - makes me feel good.

I am thankful that even if I have to wake up early - I have a beautiful view to look at!

I am thankful for the best kisses ever! ;)

What's making your thankful list this week?

ThankfulThursday

To start, I am thankful that even though we weren't able to get our engagement photos done (crazy Mother Nature in Florida at it's best!) Now they're being rescheduled to next Wednesday...pray for beautiful weather, please! ;) Oh, but V & I were still able to enjoy a nice day together.

The ability to enjoy a delicious home cooked meal over the weekend - usually we're on the go on weekends so it was nice...dinner & a movie!

The ability to share love with all I come across on a daily basis.

A delicious new restaurant in town with some amazing food!

Cute pups! I love visiting pups - since we can't have any where we're at now - I'll go crazy if I don't have the ability to visit them ;)

What's making your list this week?

ThankfulThursday

It's the tough times that remind you (or at least remind me!) how wonderful and special my life is...how every single moment is a beautiful moment that needs to be appreciated and enjoyed.

A young man (only 23) that I used to work with (he recently switched companies) passed away last weekend from a motorcycle accident. Only 23. Saddens me so much. He was so young - had so much to learn, see, enjoy. Despite the tragedy, I am thankful that he accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior, though.

I am thankful that when our AC decided to quit on us during the week, I work for an air conditioning company where the technicians are pretty great - one of them was able to walk me through what to do to fix it!

I am thankful that my back and neck have been feeling great - I hadn't worked out in three weeks! I worked out for the first time on Tuesday night and boy did it feel SO good!

I'm SO thankful that we finally found a wedding photographer both V & I like and feel comfortable with. I guess now it's time to start practicing my smile in the mirror...engagement photos next Wednesday!

I'm thankful for cheating and having a slice of (vegetable) pizza for lunch during the week...so delicious. Usually I'm not a fan of pizza, but when it's made right, I'm down!

I'm thankful that I'll have the day before Thanksgiving off all the way until that Sunday! I haven't had that many days off in a row in years! I am psyched I get to spend all of that time with my family.

I'm thankful I started watching "Once Upon a Time" on Netflix! Totally my new "addiction!"

I'm thankful I live in a super small town that hosts fun events like the Bed Race! V was apart of it and his team took second place...woohoo! Such a fun event. Does your town have events like that?

I'm thankful for finding the most amazing smelling candle EVER. It's from Bath & Body Works. The scent is "White Barn, Nutmeg and Spice." I am so excited to snag a big 3 wick one - the smell is heavenly!

I'm thankful for "cold" weather - cold to Florida. It means I can dress cute and comfy and I can bust out my scarves!

What is it that is making YOU thankful this week?
